That's where t0ns comes in. t0ns is a gamified, Telegram-native AMM decentralized exchange being built on The Open Network (TON). It is designed to pair smart routing across pools with a Telegram-native interface. Here’s a breakdown of what makes t0ns different.

AMM DEX, Simplified
At its core, t0ns is being built as an AMM DEX. Automated Market Makers (AMMs) allow users to trade tokens without relying on a traditional order book. Instead, they interact with liquidity pools. The Problem with Basic Swaps
In many DEXs, a swap from Token A to Token B might appear straightforward but could end up being inefficient. The path chosen is often the most direct, not the most cost-effective.
Let’s say you want to swap $GRAM for $USDT. A basic router might send you directly through one pool. But what if better pricing is available by routing through multiple tokens (e.g., $GRAM > $BTC > $USDT)? Traditional DEXs won’t always check that.
And if they do, it can be slow, require additional gas, or involve switching between networks.
Enter Smart Routing
t0ns is being built around a smart routing engine that is designed to scan for efficient swap paths, including multi-hop routes. Whether the trade is a simple swap or a multi-hop route, t0ns is designed to compare paths across the pools it indexes and select one on the basis of expected output after fees and price impact. t0ns is in pre-launch, so routing behaviour has not been measured in production.
It is meant to work like a swap assistant that compares the available options before a trade is submitted.
The routing logic is intended to run behind the scenes, so that a user does not have to choose routes manually or change settings. Selecting the token pair is meant to be the only step.
The UX That Feels Like a Chat
t0ns is being built inside Telegram as a Mini App, so that swapping tokens, checking balances and taking part in quests will sit in the same place where users already chat and follow communities.
The aim is to keep DeFi within Telegram, without new browser tabs or extensions.
